Prisca has been in love with Will as long as she can remember, but she refuses to marry a man who can not be faithful to her. Accusations ended a planned elopement a few years ago and though she still has reluctant feelings for him, she will never show them. The only creature outside of her family that has her affection is the wolf who visits her in the garden during the full moon. Will is desperately in love with Prisca and her rejection led him to become the womanizing cad she thought he was anyway. Yet he has a secret. He is the wolf she loves so much. Both his family and hers are gathered for the holidays and one of her brothers has brought a strange wolf home. That man wishes to claim Prisca for his own, so Will must act and soon, or lose his true mate.

Ms. Dare has managed to merge two of my favorite genres beautifully. Her characters are vivid, memorable and literally step right off of the page. The plot is intricate and full of suspense and sensual love scenes. The tension between the two only adds to the fun. The Earl of Brimsworth adds a few twists and turns and I cant wait to read his story. Prisca and Will are great characters. Prisca is very independent and spirited and has no problem handling five older brothers. Will is very charming and handsome and is used to women falling all over him, except Prisca. He is definitely much more than the average boy next door. The couples various family members add all kinds of complications and humor to the plot. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series, as soon as I can.
