Taking a Chance, the title comes from the character whose name is Chance and for Joy not denying herself pleasure in the taking. This is a delightful story filled with likeable characters. It takes place in the wild west where there are few women. The setting is described true to the era. The passionate encounters between Chance and Joy are electrifying. Chance is so desperate for a woman that he comes close to rape but Joy always consents after some persuasion. Joy allows herself to enjoy an experience that normally she would never have before. There is definitely chemistry between these two people. The sex is described in glorious details that are graphically explicit while being choreographed in a believable way as to make it easily visualized. The dialogue flows smoothly conveying the thoughts and emotions of the characters. Blaise Kilgallen has written a delightful sexy adventure through time that is sure to be enjoyed by many.
