The blonde angel who saved her from death is on of the living dead and now, so is Billie Joyce. Problem is, she faints at the sight of blood. To make thing more frustrating, she has to contend with a man who can find nothing right with her. Of course, he would have be to be the one who creates more feelings for her than she ever had when she was alive.
Marcus fights his attraction to the lavender eyed beauty who talks like she stepped out of My Fair Lady. After all, he's no Henry Higgins, plus he got over the sex thing centuries ago. Besides, as the new King of the Vampires, who has time for women?
Reviews for Dead Faint
Love Romances & More Reviews:
"Although there are a lot of laughs in this story, it is a powerful read with a romance that is intense and sizzling. If you've never read a story by this talented author, I would strongly suggest you get on it right away. You will not be disappointed at all." - Valerie For the full review click here.

"This has been one of the most FUN reads I've had in a bit. I truly enjoyed watching the way all these wonderfully wierd and wacky characters played off one another while pulling together a storyline that was cohesive, well rounded and yet entertaining. I love a story that can make me laugh aloud as I read and this one did several times. I hope to read more from Ms. Leaf." - WitchGiggles For the full review click here.

About Lizzie T. Leaf
Lizzie T. Leaf is known for her 'humor with heat.' She has numerous e-books in varying lengths and her print book, Struck by Lightning, did very well in bookstores in addition to winning the 2007 Beacon award for Erotic Romance and tying for Best First Novel.
Since discovering the fun of writing paranormal, she enjoys creating vampires, faeries and other immortals. Currently she is working on a full length paranormal novel set in Scotland that brings in Celtic folklore.
In addition, she is creating a hot new series for Aspen Mountain Press that centers around older women/younger men. The first book in the "Cougar Club" series will be available in October 2008. This is a series that will also be open for other authors to contribute to.
When not chained to the computer keyboard, Lizzie enjoys time with her family, reading other authors and traveling with her husband.

A note from Lizzie...
If you'd like to let readers know, in 2009 I will finish my first mainstream/women's fiction novel. Also, I love hearing from readers, a lot of whom I now consider friends though the exchange of emails.
An Interview with Lizzie T. Leaf
By Katie Raines for The Romance StudioKR: Lizzie, thank you for talking with us at TRS. Please tell us
about your featured book, Dead Faint. LL: Billie Joyce grew up in a rural mountain area outside Charlotte, NC. She finally realized her dream of going to NYC only to discover
she doesn't like big city life. Accosted and stabbed on her way
back to her hotel, she thinks she sees a blonde angel who has come
to save. The angel saves her from death, but converts her to one of
the undead. Problem is, she faints at the sight of blood and that's
the main source of her new diet. Faced with food she can't look at,
a hunky vampire she loves to look at, but doesn't appreciate his
attitude...well, her new life isn't a bed of roses.
KR: Your heroine is an accidental vampire and your hero a centuries
old vampire leader. Where did you get the idea for this delightful
tale? LL: It started with a friend telling me I needed to write about a
vampire who faints at the sight of blood. She thought my humor
would play into the story-line. At the same time, I had several
readers email and ask about a sequel. They wanted to know more
about Daniel. Presto...combined the two suggestions.
KR: What do you like best about Billie Joyce and how do you relate to
her? LL: I like her determination. She's smart and learns she's tougher
than she thought she was. Maybe I like her because I've experieced
some of those elements in my own life.
KR: What did you enjoy most about writing this story? LL: It was fun. I
love reading and writing paranormal, but my mind doesn't go into the
dark and bloody parts. I enjoy stories with humor and Dead Faint
gave the opportunity to expand on the characters in Waking Up Dead,
the original book that started the series.
KR: In a market where vampires are popular, how do create a vampire
tale that's unique? LL: I focused on the humor and tried to tie in
story lines with a twist. In Dead Faint, Dovey the heroine from the
first book is pregnant and not exactly excited over it. She didn't
think vampires could get pregnant.
KR: What can you tell us about Waking Up Dead? LL: In Waking Up Dead, the
heroine starts out as a spoiled little rich girl who is a tabloid
darling. After a wild night with a stranger, she wakes up to
discover she's a vampire and everyone thinks she died from a drug
overdose. Unable to return to her prior life, she became an exotic
dancer and grows into a better person than she was as a human.
KR: What do you have coming up for readers? LL: Currently, I am working
on creating a series for Aspen Mountain Press. The Cougar Club will
be about older women/younger men relationships and I will roll out
the first book in the series, but other authors will contribute
stories to it also.
I'm also working on Beyond Magic, another paranormal that is a full
length novel and a lot of it will be set in Scotland.
Plus, I have a mainstream/women's fiction in the works and I'm
getting lots of prods from the muse to finish up a book I started a
couple of years ago and set aside to get some other commitments out
of the way. It's also a full length mainstream that deals with
reincarnation.
As you can tell, I don't have enough to do...LOL
KR: What would you most like for readers to know about you? LL: I love
what I do and I truly enjoy hearing from readers!
KR: What do you think readers would be surprised to know about you? LL: Let's see, I'm a Certified Master Gardner, a Certified Tour
Guide/Manager (some of that comes in handy in Beyond Magic), but
probably the thing most people find surprising is that at the heart
of me, I'm basically a 'shy little girl'. There are times when I
revert back into that kid who would rather stand on the sidelines
and observe, but I convince myself that others feel more
uncomfortable than I do and go for it.
KR: What's your favorite way to network with readers? LL: I have a
couple of blogs that I post on. Sometimes I have different topics
on each and other times when I'm pressed with deadlines and realize
I haven't posted in awhile, I'll do something short and post on
both. But I thoroughly enjoy the reader comments.
They are: http://hotflashmoments.blogspot.com and in this case, Hot Flashes can be anything from 'holy crap, let me open the freezer door and stick my head in' to whatever in on my mind (scary) or in the news. The other is on My Space and I really enjoy the whole friends thing
over there... http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=94498572 And would you believe when I have a print book release, I love
meeting readers in person at book signings? I just lock that shy
little girl in a back room of my mind and come out to have a fun
time! You get to know people so much better when you're looking
them in the eye and can hear their laughter.
Gee, for such a simple question, I sure did ramble on...LOL.
KR: Thank you! It was great!
