Have you ever made a daring move?
Di Jenson is a successful Broadway dancer who makes a bet with bad boy Van Vanzant to dance at Vanz, his exclusive gentlemen’s club. The bet? That Di can make more money with one dance than all the rest of the club’s dancers combined — without taking her clothes off.
Van accepts the bet because he hasn’t been able to forget his blind date with Di the year before. He wants to show her he’s more than a guy whose name is synonymous with adult entertainment. Despite the fact that Di is drawn to the bad boy in Van, she knows she can’t respect a guy in his line of business. But when she dances at his club, the bet turns into something neither will soon forget.
Can a bad boy with secrets win the heart of a dancer who dares to make a Scandalous Move?

Di Jenson is a successful Broadway dancer and takes a bet from Van Vanzant to dance at his upscale gentleman’s club. Plus, neither of them can forget a blind date they shared a year earlier. The plot is fast paced, maybe a little too much at times, but the chemistry between Di and Van burns up the page. The sex scenes are not just smoking hot but also authentic. I was also pleasantly surprised that the book included burlesque, one of my favorite forms of dance, but also touched on the more realistic aspects of dancing professionally. A wonderful, sexy read.—T. Dolan
Take a hot journey with Deborah Grace Staley’s new series, Scandalous Moves. Her first in the series, Dared, begins with a bet. Di, a professional Broadway dancer, sets her mind to dance at Van’s Gentleman’s club. The tension between the main characters is electric with delicious interludes. Connecting with the characters is a wonderful addition as they wrestle with strong feelings for each other and their life choices. I was fully entertained by this steamy romance and can’t wait for the release of Played.—E. Harlan
“Dared” is definitely a treat for lovers of steamy romance. In the first book of her new series (Scandalous Moves), Staley heats up the pages with her fast paced love/lust relationship between a professional dancer (Di) and a hunky businessman (Van) that starts out as a blind date. Van knows what he wants and sets out to get it. Di thinks she knows Van and his “type”, but boy does she have it all wrong. First impressions are not always what they seem; except in the lust department. She knows there is a definite connection, but tries to fight the obvious. You must read this book to find out what happens with these two passionate characters. Can’t wait for book #2 in this series. Great read by a wonderful author.—D. McNutt
A lively and very hot story set in the always fascinating world of New York professional dance. Deborah Grace Staley has written a vibrant tale of high-brow Broadway dancer, Diane Jenson as she takes a walk on the wild side as “Lady D” in one of Manhattan’s most notorious gentlemen’s clubs. Sparks fly between Lady D and the club’s enigmatic, charismatic owner, Van who may be far more complicated and dangerous to her Broadway career than Di initially realizes.
Although fast paced and very modern, “Dared” will also remind you of those great old films with Ginger Rogers — flirty, filled with champagne and a fabulous night club show!—A. Marino
Di and Van are a couple you are rooting for right from the start. Di has reasons to avoid him, but Van has gotten under her skin and she can’t forget him or deny the attraction. The surprise is how thoughtful he is, and so totally out of the character she thought him to be. Van has his own demons – Can Di heal them? He’s used to sealing the deal now or putting it behind him and moving on. But now he has to find the patience and faith to wait for Di. Loved this story and I’m looking forward to book two. I received an ARC in return for an honest review and it was truly a pleasure to read.—Author Skye Taylor
Wow!!! Deborah Grace Staley penned another fabulous and steamy story. The heat between professional dancer Di and club owner Van grew as Di learned everything is not always what it seems. Loved this book.—P. Harrison
My husband loved this book and he never read a page! This book was so so steamy, but that wasn’t the best part. I’ve noticed lots of successful authors in recent years who write highly erotic romance, but they simply lack even basic writing skills. Ms. Staley combines truly splendid erotica with exceptional writing skill and content. I wanted to install a stripper pole in my home. I’ll just tell my pastor we have roof issues. Let’s face it, I like to read dirty books, but I’m picky. If it isn’t well written I can’t, I just can’t. All I can say is if you thought fifty shades of whatever was even bearable, treat yourself to some superbly written prose; better yet, treat your significant other by reading Dared.—S. Hicks
Looking for a good read this summer? Add “Dared” to your list! Packed with sex, romance, and drama, Deborah Staley never disappoints. Looking forward to more to come!—R. Reimann
Loved this steamy romance between Di and Van. Can’t wait until book 2 in series. Awesome book by a great author!—M. Crowder
Love, love, love this book! It’s fast-paced and while it’s not a long tomb of a novel, it doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve been slighted in any way. The connection between Di and Van…oh my. Lots of heat. Lots of passion. And lots of fireworks. It’s the perfect weekend read! The best part of the book is that while it’s definitely steamy with lots of intense scenes, the story has depth and the characters are people you would want to know in real life. If you don’t like strong, sassy females; alpha males who own the market for sex appeal; or stories that make you say “ooo, lah, lah”…then this book isn’t for you. A warning: this book is best read near a fan or in an air-conditioned room.—Author KR Grace
