Grace’s Turmoil by Peter Perrin

It is 6 months since DevineDestinies.com published my debut novel, Grace’s Turmoil. It is available from them as an eBook and also from Amazon as an eBook or paperback. Grace’s Turmoil is the first novel in a trilogy ‘Not Too Old for Love.’

The main characters in Grace’s Turmoil were the heroine, Grace Stollery, and the hero, Alfred (Alf) Nobel. The title of book 2 is Queenie’s Compromise and Grace and Alf appear in it. But I have relegated them to minor character roles. The hero in this book is Sid Carpenter and his heroine is Queenie Packard. Both appeared as minor characters in Grace’s Turmoil. Two other minor characters from the first book will be the main characters in the final book of the trilogy. I haven’t decided on a title for this one yet.

Queenie’s Compromise continues the saga that is life at The Grange. This is an upmarket retirement village on the edge of the city of Gloucester in England. I have made all the residents aged at least sixty. But they mean to live life to the full. Some have an interest in romance, sex, and relationships or marriage. They don’t in anyway fit the image that most people have of pensioners/seniors.

The books in the series ‘Not Too Old for Love’ will suit anybody who likes sweet, contemporary, romance with a dash of spice. But they will in particular appeal to any romance reader who wants to read about main characters who are not the same age as their own children.
