• Your book will be featured on the event page, promoted in our event campaigns, and included in our Black Friday mailing.

• Readers will also vote for their favorite feature — and the winning author will receive a a FREE YEAR OF FEATURED MEMBERSHIP @ TRS ($60 value) + AN ADVERTISING PACKAGE @ TRS ($500 value).

⚡ Optional upgrades (like cover ads, newsletter spots, and top placement) are also available for extra visibility.

1. Free Promo Opportunity — With a Swag Bag Twist! As part of The Black Friday Romance Bash, we’re offering authors the chance to promote their book for FREE on our event page. All we ask is that you contribute a little something to our Digital Swag Bag, which will be offered to TRS visitors during the event. Think of it as a free bonus treat for readers that also helps showcase you.

What counts as Swag?

• A bonus scene, deleted chapter, or sneak peek (PDF/ebook)
• A short story, novella, or prequel
• A character playlist, recipe, or printable bookmark
• Exclusive artwork or fun digital extras like coloring pages

By donating a digital goodie, your book will be featured on the TRS event page, appear in our Black Friday promotions, and reach thousands of readers who can instantly download and enjoy your contribution.

It’s a win-win: readers get free romance extras, and you get free promo plus a spot in the hottest TRS event of the holiday season.

2. FEATURE YOUR BOOK:

You can feature your book a few ways during this promotion. To use these, you must be a participating author.

A. Front Page Baby! It’s a one-day version of our Front Page Promotion. On the day your book is featured, it will appear as the star of our event on both the event page. You can also feature it on the TRS main site.

B. Stop the Press! On 11/26, we’ll be sending a mailing to announce the books featured in our event along with the digital swag bag we’re offering. We’ll give excited readers a preview of the exciting weekend. We’ll spotlight your book in this mailing for added buzz. It will include a special graphic with your cover, and full details about your book. 

Featured your book in this weekly mailing for $15.

If you want your own mailing during that week, we can do that too for $25. It’s the individual newsletter ad at a great price.

C. Advertise Across the Event! 

Place a cover ad on ALL of the event pages for $15. This offer is optional.

3. VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE: During the week, we’re running a poll. The book/author with the most votes wins a FREE YEAR OF FEATURED MEMBERSHIP @ TRS ($60 value) + AN ADVERTISING PACKAGE @ TRS ($500 value). It’s open to all who participate. Winner to be announced on Tuesday, December 2nd on our site.

4. THE REST: You must be 18 or older and it must be legal to participate where you are. Authors can only promote one book for this promotion. The book must be in the romance genre. You do not have to be a featured member of TRS to participate.
